In an effort to improve Nephrology training in PD, the University of Alabama has hosted PDA for the last six years. The program has been endorsed by the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) and is offered to all Nephrology Fellows/Programs in the United States. It is an intense three-day course which includes didactic lectures from renowned PD experts, interactive problem sessions, and hands-on workshops. In the past, the program has been well received by PDA faculty and participants alike. This year, we anticipate more than 30 participants. Fellows located in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, and Tennessee have already registered.
